dimsum has signed up ASEAN-focused travel channel, GOASEAN, which will see the platform offering various travel-related content. GOASEAN will offer its line-up of original shows such as Unseen Malaysia, Go Travel Season 1 till Season 3, The Eco Traveler, Go Fast or Go Home, Happy Endings, Grand Escapes, Lost at SEA, Off the Hook, Paradise Wedding, Strange Encounters, Supper Heroes, The Halal Foodie, Wedding & Honeymoon Destination, Go Explore and Food Maps series.
While dimsum will help push GOASEAN’s channel to a wider audience who are seeking high quality and engaging travel content with the Chinese subtitles option.
dimsum’s CMO, Lam Swee Kim said that the latest collaboration with regional content partners such as GOASEAN is part of its strategy, in providing better Asian content and also to remain competitive in the local video-on-demand (VOD) industry.
His counterpart, GOASEAN’s Senior VP of sales, marketing and business development, Edwin Raj added, “We are excited to partner up with dimsum, the latest subscription video-on demand service in Malaysia, to promote tourism to Southeast Asia through our high-quality content. GOASEAN’s first Mandarin original series will premiere on dimsum’s platform later this year.
